BBES, we, us â Bristol & Bath Exterior Solutions, sole trader of Unit B, Charlton Road, Keynsham, Bristol, BS31 2EU. Customer, you â the person or organisation requesting the work. Site â the property where work is to be carried out. Work â the cleaning, washing or restoration services we agree to provide. Quote â the written estimate we send you. Acceptance â your reply (email, text, WhatsApp, signed form, or verbal confirmation followed by access to the Site) confirming you wish us to proceed.
A contract is formed when you Accept a Quote. The contract incorporates the Quote, these Terms, and any specific conditions agreed in writing. If a Quote conflicts with these Terms, the Quote prevails.
For consumers, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 apply. You have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of the contract. If you ask us to start work inside that 14-day window and we agree, you acknowledge you may lose the right to cancel once the work has begun.
Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Quotes are based on information you provide and a visual inspection. If on arrival the Site differs materially from what was described, we may reasonably revise the price. We pause and confirm the revised price before continuing. Quoted “From £” prices are starting prices for typical specifications.
We cannot guarantee that cleaning will restore surfaces previously damaged by ice, salt, sealant failure, mortar failure, paint failure, root damage, or chemical staining. Some oil, paint, rust and tannin stains are permanent. Algae, lichen and moss return naturally â we offer optional biocide treatments and maintenance plans to slow regrowth. If we identify any of these conditions on inspection or during the Work, we tell you, document it with a photograph, and pause for instructions.
We take great care, but cleaning is mechanical work on existing surfaces and there are inherent risks. We are responsible for damage caused by our negligence, breach of duty or breach of contract; for death or personal injury caused by our negligence (this liability cannot be limited); and for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation (this liability cannot be limited).
We are not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing defects in the surface or substrate (failed mortar, hairline cracks, sealant failure, loose pointing) that were not visible at quote stage; damage caused by your failure to disclose conservation-area / listed-building / specialist-system status at booking; consequential or indirect loss (loss of profits, loss of use), except where required by law. Our total liability for any one claim does not exceed our £5,000,000 Public Liability cover or, where that does not respond, the price paid for the Work.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded under English law, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
We may take photographs of the Site before, during and after the Work for our internal job records and warranty evidence. We use them for training, marketing or case-study material only with your opt-in permission, with personal information (number plates, house numbers, faces, identifying signage) cropped or blurred. If you do not want photography used for marketing, tell us before we arrive.
We may invite you, after job completion, to leave a review on Google, Trustpilot or Checkatrade. There is no obligation, no incentive, and no implied discount linked to whether you leave a review. All reviews on this site are real and genuine, in line with the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 (Sections 224â230).
If something is wrong, please tell us first. Email enquiries@bristolandbathexteriorsolutions.co.uk with subject “Complaint”, or phone 07763 741067. We acknowledge inside 2 working days and respond fully inside 14 days. If we cannot resolve the matter inside 8 weeks, you may refer the dispute to an Alternative Dispute Resolution provider â we suggest Trading Standards via Citizens Advice (0808 223 1133, citizensadvice.org.uk/consumer).
For domestic customers, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by these Terms.
We process your personal data in line with our Privacy Notice and the UK GDPR. By accepting a Quote you confirm you have read and understood the Privacy Notice.
